A buyer's first impression of a property usually comes from a photograph, often on a phone. A mossy roof and a green-streaked north wall can read as deferred maintenance, which is not the impression a listing wants to make.
The problem is timing. Listing photography gets booked, and exterior cleaning gets remembered three days before. We keep capacity for pre-sale work for exactly this reason, and we schedule against the photography date rather than the other way round.
