What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, email address, phone number, property address and the service you're interested in. If you contact us by phone or email we keep a record of that correspondence.
We also collect standard analytics data about how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device type and how you arrived. This is handled through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
Why we collect it
To prepare and send your quote, schedule and carry out work, invoice you, and respond to questions. We also use aggregate analytics to understand which parts of the site are useful.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We don't collect payment card details through this website.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us operate: our email delivery provider, our hosting provider, and our analytics provider. Each processes data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don't become jobs are kept for two years. Records relating to completed work are kept for seven years, which is what Canadian tax and business record requirements expect.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and to remember where a visit originated (for example, whether you arrived from an ad). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's PIPA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email support@flatmateclean.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
Data sent through this site travels over an encrypted connection. We limit access to customer information to people who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, and we'd tell you promptly if a breach affected your information.
