How often should gutters be cleaned in Metro Vancouver?
Twice a year suits most properties: late autumn after leaf drop and again in spring. Buildings under conifers often need a third visit because needles fall continuously rather than seasonally. Strata and commercial properties usually set a recurring schedule.
Do you clean gutters by hand or with a vacuum?
Both, depending on the roof. Gutter-vac from the ground suits many one- and two-storey buildings and avoids ladders on delicate roofing; by hand suits steep pitches, heavy compaction and anywhere the trough needs to be seen. Downspouts are flushed either way.
Do you take the debris away?
Yes. Everything we remove leaves with us. It is not bagged and left by the door or raked into garden beds.
Can you clean gutters on a three-storey or multi-building property?
Yes. We have the access equipment for multi-storey and multi-building residential, strata and commercial properties, and we are insured for work at height. Scheduling and notice are coordinated with the council or manager.
Do you repair gutters as well as clean them?
Minor repairs are handled during the clean: refixing loose sections and replacing damaged baskets and downspout guards. Larger repairs are quoted separately with photos of the problem.
